Welcome to the website dedicated to the Cambridge (UK) Munch.

The Munch is a regular social meeting point for people on the BDSM, fetish and kink scene in the Cambridge area there!

What we're about

The Cambridge Munch is run by members for members. People of all genders and sexualities are welcomed. The aim of the munch is to provide support, friendship and a social outlet to all consenting adults of all sexualities within the BDSM community.

The Cambridge Munch is a place where you can talk and share ideas with people who accept you for who and what you are - without barriers or prejudice. It's a good opportunity to meet like-minded people and make friends in a relaxed, open atmosphere.

Parties and trips to scene-related events are arranged, going to the Cambridge Munch will provide you with a good introduction to different aspects of the scene and introduce you to many new local people.

The monthly munch is held at a local pub, it is a friendly get together where people come to chat, network, catch up with old friends, tell stories and socialise in a relaxed atmosphere. You are not expected to dress up, have read loads of books on BDSM or come with anything other than an open mind and friendly disposition.

Where and when do people meet

The Cambridge Munch meets on the first Tuesday of the month at The Corner House , 231 Newmarket Road, Cambridge, CB5 8JE.

The venue has it's own car park and there is plenty of nearby parking if that gets full. For those on public transport, the pub is a 15-20 minute walk from Cambridge Rail Station and the bus station and is on the Citi 3 which stops at both.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind you we have the whole of the pub to ourselves! Please support the Cambridge Munch by turning up and using the venue. We are hoping to be able to remain at this venue.

People start drifting in about 7pm, although the Munch doesn't start until 8pm.

For a contribution of £2, we order pizza, so there's less of a need to cram in food before you come out.

Munch rules etc.

Well, sort of none really - apart from mutual respect. If you don't show any, we'll ask you to leave and you won't be welcome back. A fuller set of guidelines to behavior is given in the FAQ, if you really need them.

Munch mobile/meet and greet service

The Cambridge Munch operates a meet and greet service, for those new attendees who are nervous of turning up by themselves. To ask for this service please send us a message through the contact us link at the top of the page and we will try to get you in touch with those members running the meet and greet that month.

Usually members of the munch will do all they can to meet new people even if you can't make the Tueday munch that month.

Keeping in contact
