These Rules have been lovingly ripped off and adapted from the wonderful people at Lovetrix (with their permission). Their rules are clear and we couldn't see the point of reinventing the wheel. Go visit their site and the club.

These rules are for everyone. Old hands and newbies. If you are new, following them will help you enjoy your evening to the maximum, if you are an old hand, then please follow them - with no exceptions please!

Otherwise you may receive the ultimate sanction

rulebreaker

1. Enjoy.

A CK Party is meant to be a relaxed, fun place to be. Friendly and very welcoming.

Nobody will jump on you and do terrible things (unless you ask them nicely!).

If it is your first club outing, we can promise, you will rapidly feel at ease.

Its rather like a bigger extended version of the Cambridge munch.

Do talk to people.

The club is not a free-for-all where anyone plays with anyone else.

Failure to comply with these rules will mean certain ejection from the party and a ban from all future CK parties.

But at all times please remember the Laws Of The Land still apply at a CK Party! You are expected to keep within the Law at all times, this includes following the smoking ban! So please do respecting the law at all times, ignorance is no defense!

2. Strict Dress Code.

A CK Party has dress code requirements, this is for several reasons.

Refusing admission to a person in "street clothes" discourages casually curious gawpers. We do however allow smart as well as fetish clothing PLEASE ask if you're unsure.

It helps build atmosphere so that even if you don't wish to actively play, you are still contributing to the ambience.

It also means that only people who are part of the scene will be welcome.

Generally this means that anything rubber, leather or PVC is acceptable, as is provocative & erotic clothing or smart wear.

3. Players Have Right Of Way.

Stay out of the way of a scene - if you get hit by the back stroke of a whip etc., it is your fault!
You shouldn't have been so close or you should have been looking where you were going.

If you are sitting on equipment chatting and someone wants to use it to play on - move, and move with good grace.

The equipment is there for beating arses – the furniture is for sitting on.

4. You Can Ask Anyone Anything.

If They Say No - Then Don't Ask Again!

A CK Party is a very open environment and nobody will take offence at a POLITE question.
However, if you are asking someone to play and they decline - accept the answer with equally good grace and do not ask again.

Pestering someone will only put their backs up and in some cases may result in you being asked to leave the club.

5. Don't Touch People Or Toys Without Permission.

At a CK Party you will encounter people in various states of dress & undress.
This is not an invitation to touch them in any way!

Touching people without permission will get you physically ejected from the venue.
Do not join in scenes, even if they look like free-for-alls, unless invited to do so.

A scene that might look to you, like lots of people joining in is likely to either be prearranged between the dom and other players, or that the dom is subtly signaling audience members that they wish to be involved.

Only join in if you are clearly invited to do so, and a glance in your direction does not constitute an invitation.

Do not touch people's toys, whips, paddles, etc., that are lying around without finding the owner and asking.

6. Don't Crowd A Scene, Interrupt A Scene Or Talk To The Players.

If you want to watch a scene, generally that is fine - people wouldn't be playing at a party if they were totally averse to people seeing them play.

However - and this is a very important point - They are not playing for your entertainment, so treat their scene with respect.

Do not crowd them, do not stand and "gawp", do not make "helpful" suggestions to the dom and don't make audible comments to other onlookers.

A scene is an intimate interaction between the participants, you shouldn't interrupt this any more than you would any other intimate moment between people.

If you are asked to move back by one of the participants - do so immediately, without argument or question.

The Keyword is 'respect'. If you enjoyed the scene then no one is going to be offended by a respectful compliment after the scene is completely over (and the players have had time to come 'down').

7. Single Males.

This is a social event as much as anything, and is usually best enjoyed by couples or mixed social groups. We hope that there will be an equal mix of sexes (all 19 of them), but we can't force anything! Single males, along with single females are equally as welcome but we cannot guarentee you will be able to play unless you agree with the House Mistress beforehand.

8. Don't Wank.

Need we say more...? (BEFORE YOU EJECT YOU WILL BE EJECTED FROM THE CLUB!!!)
You will NOT be welcome back at any point in the future so please don't spoil it for yourself & others.

9. No Sexual Acts or Penetration.

Again, need we say more....?
CK events are not a swingers party but we do allow you to use the rooms upstaiirs in the venue e're using for Oblivion if you feel you need to be more intimate with your partner/s. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED DOWNSTAIRS AT ANY TIME, also fisting and anal play is not permitted downstairs. This also includes oral sex acts they are all against the rules and if seen participating in these acts you will be asked to stop, you will not be asked a second time but will be banned instantly. Again, if you wish to do ANYTHING like this, please take your play to the rooms dedicated for this..

These rules are made for a reason not just because one day we decide to add them. And can be amended according to location and venue at short notice.

10. No Cameras.

The only person able to take images from a CK event is the official photographer no one else. (inc. image camera/video mobile phones) Many people at clubs and parties have good reasons for not wanting their photographs taken in that environment.

Even if your intention is to photograph only yourself or your friends - it is all too easy for others to be inadvertently included in the background of photos, consequently cameras are banned from the party.

Unauthorised cameras will be confiscated and film/digital media destroyed.

11. No Selling Or Advertising.

You are forbidden to sell any items, services or promote the selling of any items or services at ANY CK Party, anybody who is caught doing so will be ejected from the party as as it is very rude. We do however allow leaflets for other events to be displayed in a designated area so please ask if you'd like to advertise.

This includes flyers of any kind, if you wish to flyer the club then you will need to get direct permission from the club promoters before the night not on the night.
To request permission to flyer an event please email Mistress Marina.
There may be occasions when we will permit the selling of items in the club but these will be on specific dates advertised by us when a license has been sought for the day.
We hope to have stalls and merchandising available all future CK events.

12. Bans.

If any of the above rules are broken we will not hesitate to ban you from future events, we also reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who is not dressed in accordance with our dress code.

Anyone who finds themselves banned from our party can request a reason why they were banned to be issued to them, and if they disagree with that reason they may request that we look into their ban more closely.

13. Animals.

Under no circumstances are any animals allowed into a CK Party

14. Corpses.

Under no circumstances are any corpses allowed into a CK Party

15. Informing Staff of Rule Breaches.

We are not telepathic and whilst the venue staff are dotted around in various different areas we may miss things from time to time. If you spot someone breaking the rules then please talk to the individual and ask them politely to follow the rules. If you do not feel capable of this seek out a member of the venue staff, as complaining about something the next day is not helpful and is almost impossible to prove/disprove.

16. Alcohol In The Club.

As this party is being held in a very good venue, there is a fully stocked bar at competitive prices, so please do not bring your own alcohol. We don't wish to start searching bags but will do so if we encounter this problem.p>

17. Asked To Stop.

Events are self policed, if you see play that you feel is unsafe please alert other party members and ask those who are playing to stop. If the unsafe play continues please alert a member of the Venue staff.

Likewise if other members of the party of venue staff asks you to stop a scene or start finishing it you are to do so immediately and not ignore them.

Party members and venue staff will not interrupt a scene without good reason and if any venue staff are ignored you will be removed from the party forfeiting the entrance fee and banned from future events.

17. The End.

At the end of the day it all just comes down to common courtesy (and a little common sense).

Cambridge Kink is now a very well established events group & all we want is for people to come along, enjoy themselves & feel comfortable while doing so!
